English Oration Report

English Oration was conducted on topics "My Favourite Cartoon Character/Fairy tale" or "Video games – Good or Bad". Grade 4A&B actively participated with 25 and 26 participants respectively. The session was conducted on two different days considering the time constraint in online classes. The first session was conducted on 24.08.21 between 2.30 p.m. and 3.15 p.m. and on 07.09.21 between 8.40 a.m. and 9.10 a.m. Students were excited to speak about their favourite cartoon character and how it has influenced their lives in a good way. The topic of video games was thought-provoking as to how video games can also be used for improving cognitive activities in day-to-day life. Students spoke about the fairy tale characters and how reading books on these characters is worth the time spent.

One challenge that was faced is that students read out from paper instead of mastering the sentences they had to speak.
