Fire Extinguisher Training for Teaching and Non Teaching Staff

Fire extinguisher training for teaching and non teaching staff was given by the safety coordinator Mrs Geetha Rajan and Mr.Ravikumar in the ground on 22.04.16.The teachers were asked to try using the same.

MYTHREE 2016

MYTHREE 2016 commenced with an invocation to the almighty. There was an open forum created for parents to express their heartfelt gratitude and thoughts on their association with the T.I Family.

Parent’s opinion:

  • Mrs.Bhuvaneshwari, parent of Amrutha G shared about the confidence built in her child and expressed her gratitude
  • Mrs Beena, parent of Sri Lakshmi expressed her gratitude for the continual support rendered to her child
  • Tulir’s parent praised the school about the faith and confidence instilled in the child
  • Mahati’s parent expressed that her child imbibed the values of always being joyful, content and confident right from her childhood

and the list goes on...

The student council handed over the responsibilities to their juniors and the juniors took it up forward as per their senior’s instructions.

Vriksha 2016

‘Vriksha 2016’, an exclusive art exhibition to showcase our student’s talents in various art forms like

  • Glass painting
  • Fabric painting
  • Batik work
  • Block printing
  • Clay modeling and moulding
  • Embroidery and patterns

is going to be held in our school in the month of June 2016. Preparatory work for the same is in full swing. Resource people from a leading art school are giving training to our students in the various art forms.

Kids for Tigers National Camp

It’s a great honour for our student Swarna of class IX to attend the ‘Kids for Tigers National Camp’ from April 1 – April 3 at Umred Karandla Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra. She is only student to represent Tamil Nadu state and one amongst the 6 students from various states selected at the national level.

The activities included:

  • Forest ride in Canter
  • Trekking
  • Star gazing
  • Gothangaon village visit for formal interaction
  • Lecture by Dr. Parvish Pandiya on ‘How to be an effective Tiger Ambassador in the future’.
  • Raj Phukan talks on climate change

Swarna says "It was an excellent learning. We could spot tigers, rare birds, wild dogs, Gaur spotted dear sambar etc.
