Film has the power to make one feel not lonely, even when one is. Film is an art, it doesn't give one what one desires, it tells one how to desire. The Film club was initiated in our school so that every student can bloom into a better individual and a matured person.

The inauguration of the Film Club for 2019-2020 was held on 28th June 2019. Akhilesh.K.R, the President of Film Club from class XII welcomed the gathering and presented various activities for the year.

Mrs. Ambili Unnikrishnan, teacher co-ordinator of Film Club, addressed the gathering and narrated an inspirational story from the life of Arunima Sinha. With this the students got a new perspective for life. A short screening namely 'Anbil Aval' was screened to the students. The short film delivered a strong message of not to ignore our parents, because they are the reason for our existence. 'To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honours,' was the message of the short film.

The ceremony ended after an interactive session initiated by Mrs. Vidya Perichiappan, teacher-in charge, Film Club, where students expressed their thoughts and views on the film.
