SBIOA IGNITE 2015

Poster Making Competition for classes XI by Narcotics Control Bureau, Govt. of India

A poster making competition was conducted for students of classes XI on 22/6/15 by the Narcotics Control Bureau in view of celebrating the “International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking”. The Topic was “Say No to Drugs”.15 students participated in the competition and performed extremely well. The winners are

STUDENT COUNCIL 2015-16

The annual Student Council Election took place from 17.06.15 to 19.06.15. Students of class XI filed their nominations for different post like ASPL, House – Vice Captains etc. They were interviewed by a panel of teachers and the new student council members were finalized.

Visit to Agastya International Foundation, Kuppam

On 16.06.2015, a team of teachers from all the four AMM foundation schools, led by Mr. P.R.Rao, Academic Advisor, AMM Foundation schools, paid visit to Agastya International Foundation at Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh.

The team was received by Mr. Nithin Desai, Head - creativity campus, who briefed us on the activities at Agastya International foundation. While he was interacting with the team he emphasized on five learning shifts being practiced at Agastya International Foundation.

EDUFEST – II INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AT IIT

EduFest, International Conference was held at IIT, Madras on the 15th and 16th of May 2015.

The theme was “High achieving schools”. In the conference there was a deliberation on “Understanding the meaning of High achieving schools”, attributes of institutional, academic and personal leadership and empowerment of teachers. Presentation on quality education survey conducted y WIPRO was the highlight.

There was an opportunity for us to share the best practices in our school like examination without invigilation, Green School and other few initiatives taken up by us which was well appreciated.

Learning and Friendship

On the 11th of June the day dawned bright and clear as the tiny tots entered onto an entirely new world where for the next few years they will experience the JOY of “LEARNING AND FRIENDSHIP”. On the beginning of their journey we had with us the Student Council Members to help the teachers with the enthusiastic bunch of kids they were handling.
