"It is nice to have valid competitions; it pushes us to do better." with this thought in mind the Final Round of Murugappa Interschool Quiz Competition was conducted on 14.12.21 at VCHSS, Thiruvottiyur. The most awaited day was packed with great zeal and overwhelming participation. The event commenced with a prayer to invoke the blessings of the almighty.
Mr. S. Sundar, Correspondent, VCHSS was the Chief Guest. Dr. Prabha Gurumurthy, Educationist and Motivational Trainer and Mr. Gnanavel Raju, Technical Architect were the quiz mistress and quiz master respectively. The quiz had five rounds. The following are the winners of the competition:

An activity "We Care for Nature" was conducted on 12th Dec 2021 for LKG through Microsoft Teams between 10a.m. and 11a.m.
The main objective of the activity was to nurturelove for nature and the importance of caring for nature by growing plants. Various activities were conducted to enable children to understood that the plants come from seeds, plants need soil, water, air and sunlight to grow and that soil needs to be prepared to grow plants. Children were taken on a virtual trip around the school garden to see how the gardener prepares the soil for plants.
