The Primary Project day 'Around the world' on 24th February between 9.00 am and 11.00 am through MS Teams plat form.
Students browsed the internet and books to gather information on Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Burma, Nepal, Thailand, Australia, China, Scandinavian, Japan, France and Italy. They shared their knowledge through Power Point Text, Charts, Role play, songs and dances. This was a great opportunity for students to enhance their creativity, speaking skills and technological skills.
Rhapsody plus project
After the introductory session, children were guided to work in their groups. Steps involved in the projects were data collection, analysis (analyzing the problems and narrowing down to the solution), blueprint, wire frame and creativity. Based on their finding, they are supposed to arrive at the final project. Last date of uploading the project was 21.2.22. The students as well as the teachers in charge had a wonderful time learning and travelling together. The journey was smooth and successful. The groups uploaded the project in time.
All these projects seek to combine creative thinking, problem-solving and collaborative skills thereby creating a whole new paradigm for learning. (STEAM).
All the projects were a source of inspiration for innovation. Children had creative intelligence quiz in between the project.
Our school children Chorko ( Std-XI) , Kailash ( Std-IX) and Laxmi (Std-IX) emerged one among the top ten winners.They were qualified for the grand finale which was conducted on 26.2.22.

Digital Health( project)
Journey was very enriching and children could experience 21st century skill and were very innovative.
Cyber Safety Training programme was conducted virtually through MS Teams on 11.02.22 for all the teaching staff. Mr. Natarajan, CEO of Net Access started the program with an introduction to technology, the positive and negative aspects of technology that we encounter during the pandemic in the education sector.
Mr. Manickavasu, Team Leader- Information Technology, Managing Security Systems, Quality Assessments, penetration testing and Security gap assessment for Net Access created an awareness on different cyber threats and attacks on internet, possibilities of human negligence, social engineering attacks such as phishing, baiting shoulder surfing and vishing. He explained the safety measures to be taken for safeguarding our information and data during cyber-attacks. He insisted on techniques to generate strong passwords and identification of strong passwords over that of weak passwords. He further had a discussion on security measures in virtual classroom.
The session provided awareness on cyber-attacks and measures of security to be taken while using internet and handling virtual classrooms. Teachers' knowledge on various cyber – attack, security fortification as strong passwords, using public Wi-Fi, VPN, sharing information and storing the data in the cloud storage safely was enhanced.
Grade 5 had the experience of taking up a Quiz on Microsoft Forms on the climatic regions of the world on 10/02/2022. Links were sent to students as part of pre-learning on the topic. The four Climatic regions of the world which include, the Desert, the Arctic Tundra Region, the Tropical Rainforest, and the Temperate Grasslands were part of the Social Science content in TERM II. Students were also shown a video on the same. The session enhanced their geographical knowledge and understanding of the different zones of the Earth, to perceive the concept of the climatic regions of the world.
Students of grade 1 participated in a poem recitation activity online through Microsoft Teams Meet on 08/02/2022.This activity helped children to enhance pronunciation and intonation skills.
TECHNOCRATS INDIA COLLEGE conducted a career guidance program program on 05/02/2022, virtually. Mr. Nedunchezhiyan B, the resource person, provided good insights on various careers one could pursue after class 12. He gave information on the new courses available in the engineering stream based on the current scenario. The information about Indian institute of space science and technology and the admission process was also shared during the session.
The test pattern for JEE Main/ B.Tech, NEET was discussed with reference to syllabus weightage. He also shared trend of IIT exam pattern which was useful and instructive.
Various courses related to biology stream was shared along with the fee structure and the number of seats available. Tips on how to prepare for board examinations were helpful.
Clear guidance was given about the competitive exams for various career paths which was very helpful for us to pursue our desired career...
The career guidance program was indeed very beneficial.
Students of Grade 3A and 3B actively participated in the Show and Tell ECA on 04.02.2022
Students exhibited their speaking and listening skills that were part of the Skills Builder programme to practice. The oration opened up their ability to present themselves fearlessly and effortlessly. Students exhibited various objects such as their pet dog, dollhouse, storybooks, aquarium, piggy banks, teddy bear, etc., and were excited to speak about their favourite object.
Grade 5 students participated in the ECA Fun with Experiments on 03.02.2022. Students involved very actively in the activity and explored new concepts. They related it to daily life application and its uses.Some of the experiment topics included – Water Pressure, Air Pressure, Density, Purification, Magnetic force, Surface tension, Newton's law and Condensation.The experiments empowered practical skills in addition to the spirit of Scientific inquiry in students.
