World Peace Day was celebrated on 21/09/2021 from 9.00 a.m. to 9.45 a.m. by the students of Grade 5. The teacher initiated a discussion on the importance of peace by introducing World Peace Day and its objectives. The theme for World Peace Day 2021 - Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world was shared to reinforce learning. 9 students from 5A and 5B presented a PPT on the topic. It covered famous quotes on peace by various religious scriptures and by famous personalities. Poster making activity was done in the class and posted on Microsoft Teams – Assignments.
The outcome of the celebration was that the students got exposed to the topic of World Peace, and the ways through which one can contribute to creating peace among mankind. Students developed their presentation skills through PPT and Poster Making Activities.

Math games was conducted for grade 5 on the topics
It was conducted on 9.09.2021. Children used a 'Hundreds Chart' and based on the clues listed on a slide they identified numbers that did not fit into any of the groups mentioned above. Students were excited to use the given clues and find the numbers.
This game was used to check their understanding on numbers, and if their ability to follow instructions.

The final round of quiz competition was conducted for classes VII and VIII on 7th September through MS Teams. 19 students participated actively in the event. There were three rounds of quiz – Riddles (2 questions for each team), Picture connect (3 questions for each team) and Rapid Fire (5 questions for each team).
Students learnt to probe and find scientific facts and update themselves with the latest happenings. It helped them expand their knowledge beyond books and explore the outside world.
Students used the fun way to improve their general knowledge and organize themselves for group discussions.

The final round of Science quiz for class VI was conducted through Microsoft Teams platform. Eight students participated with full enthusiasm. The final quiz comprised the following rounds:
Mrs Krishnaveni was the scorer for the activity. The quiz motivated students to develop a quest for inquiry, critical thinking and scientific temper.
